Households across Chicagoland and surrounding counties facing electric, gas, or heating hardship may apply for grant-based assistance. Common providers reviewed include ComEd for electric and other approved utility providers operating in the region.

We serve Pennsylvania households facing past-due balances or shutoff notices on essential utility bills. PECO bill payment hardship is one of the most common reasons households contact us — and other approved local utilities are also eligible.

Maryland households may apply for grant-based assistance toward BGE, Pepco, Delmarva Power, and other approved utility provider bills. Households facing shutoff are encouraged to call as soon as possible.

Delaware households facing electric, gas, water, or heating bill hardship may apply. Delmarva Power and other approved utility providers across Delaware are reviewed for grant-based aid eligibility.

New Jersey households facing utility hardship may apply for grant-based assistance toward Atlantic City Electric and other approved utility provider bills across the state.

District of Columbia households may apply for grant-based aid toward Pepco bills and other eligible utility providers. Households with disconnection notices should call without delay.
