Exelon Corporation Bill Payment Assistance: What Customers Should Know

Exelon Corporation is the parent company of six major regulated utilities serving millions of customers across the Mid-Atlantic and Midwest: ComEd in Northern Illinois, PECO in Pennsylvania, BGE in Maryland, Delmarva Power in Delaware and parts of Maryland, Atlantic City Electric in New Jersey, and Pepco in Washington, DC and parts of Maryland.

Customers facing past-due balances, disconnection notices, or general utility hardship sometimes search for help paying an Exelon subsidiary bill. Utility Assistance USA is an independent nonprofit utility assistance project — not affiliated with Exelon or any of its subsidiaries — that may be able to review eligible households for grant-based assistance toward these bills.

Grant-based assistance is funded by charitable contributions and applied directly to the utility provider on the household's behalf when approved. It is not a loan and does not require repayment.

If you are an Exelon subsidiary customer in one of the six approved service areas (Northern Illinois, Pennsylvania, Maryland, Delaware, New Jersey, or Washington, DC) and you are experiencing utility bill hardship, call 8882985694 to ask whether grant funds may be available to help with your bill.

Utility Assistance USA is independent and not affiliated with Exelon Corporation, ComEd, PECO, BGE, Delmarva Power, Atlantic City Electric, Pepco, or any utility company. Information here is educational. Assistance is grant-based, subject to eligibility and available funds, and is never guaranteed.
